Crap, I Did It Again…
For a guy that never intended or wanted to write a novel I don’t really listen to myself very well. I just finished writing the last story for another long in the works book.

Another new painting. I really like it. Again, messing with different elements and themes. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Inch by inch I am nearing the end of a book I had started work on nearly a decade ago. Way back when I had a swell idea for a book of zombie stories that would all be interconnected, in their way, and I was super excited.
The excitement waned as the Zombie Boom hit a few years back. I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the book done in time to try to land it in the boom and I hated the idea of seeming as if I was, well, cashing in. Well, with my long gestating novel done and out (something I am still not sure I believe) it was time to wrap up the zombie book. It is what it is. If it lands in the boom, cool, if not, cool.
I don’t really care.
It’s a project I love and I want to finally put to bed.
And it’s nearing completion.
I have a few more stories to write and then I will put it away for a month and work on another project then will haul everything out and start editing and putting it all in an order.
And I am pretty excited.
I am not sure how well well it will all come together but I am hopeful.
And that’s a start.
